The best beaches in Britain?

Sun drenched deserted beaches with crystal clear water with views to die for, could this really be Scotland! The Outer Hebrides is one of Scotland’s hidden gems, with fantastic beaches and dramatic scenery.

It’s remote location means there are no crowds so we were able to explore the islands in peace – perfect if you want to escape from the rat race for a while.

The Hebrides have some of the best surfing beaches in Britain with waves crashing in from the Atlantic swells.

What could be better than a couple of hours body boarding followed by a barbecue on a deserted beach.

It was our first time to the outer Hebrides so we weren’t not sure what to expect, what we found was dramatic scenery and great campsites. This a  fabulous location for adventure sports and we will be returning again to explore the northern island of Lewis and Harris.
