Lochaber in the western Scottish highlands is home to the highest mountain in the UK, Ben Nevis, the deepest freshwater lake, Loch Morar and the most westerly point on the UK mainland Ardnamurchan point. The region stretches from Glencoe in the East to the Small Isles in the West and has many classic hillwalking routes, stunning beaches and large expanses of wilderness.
