The west coast of Scotland is a fabulous location for sea kayaking with crystal clear water and fabulous views. Contrary to popular opinion the weather can be great too but don’t tell everyone!
I met up with an old friend during our trip to Scotland in Easter who brought along a couple of his sea kayaks
We explored a small section of the coast from Morar to Camusdarach.

There is a great launch site just below the falls of Morar
We paddling down the shortest river in the UK to the sea where there was small surf to break through due to the relatively low tide. It was a clear day so there were great views over to Rum and Eigg as we paddled around to Camasdarach for a day on the beach.
The beach is a great place to explore the coves along the coast to Arisaig.
