Outdoor Events 

Wiggle Fallen Leaves MTB 7th December. 32 or 22 miles. It’s a great way to end the 2014 with some of the best the South Downs has to offer with leafy off road tracks and forest lanes. Online booking has now closed but you can still get entry on the day

Night Runner Delamere Forest 13 December. A Challenging  10k course takes place on the rolling trails, and stunning pine forest complete with festive entertainment

UCI Track Cycling World Cup 5-7 December. This is the biggest international cycling event to be held at Lee Valley VeloPark since London 2012. This is a global series that sees the world’s best cyclists competing for the points that will determine their international ranking

Hut to hut cross country skiing in Norway

Norway is one of the least densely populated countries of the world and has one of Europe’s larger marked hiking trail networks (20,000 km) and arguably the world’s most extensive cross-country skiing track networks (7000 km). There are 460 cabins in the hut networks across the country ranging from self catering to luxury private accommodation.

The Norway Trekking association was established 140 years ago and their website is a great resource for planning your Norwegian adventure with suggested hikes, waymarked ski routes  and guided tours.

Just how big is Everest?

Commissioned by public speaker and Everest summiteer, Paul Deegan ( Paul wanted an engaging way of showing his audience how big Everest really is, in comparison to other structures and mountains. Snowline produced this short video for Paul to use as part of his talk to organisations.
